Woodhead croft, replacement house project with a stunning setting
brought many challenges to the practice; sensitivity to the original style & form of the former dwelling while accommodating modern family living with some contemporary design elements. The former dwelling house was in such poor structural condition that it was decided a replacement house would deliver the dwelling that this site deserved. This design blends traditional vernacular architecture with subtle hints of contemporary design while maximising the commanding views of rural Deeside.
