The modern ground floor extension is seen projecting into the garden beyond the original 1930s house.
Full-height sliding glass doors, 5m long, open the dining area onto a new external terrace with broad steps leading up to the main garden level. The 'bookends' either side of the sliding doors contain the kitchen on the left and the sitting room on the right, which can be glimpsed through their zinc-clad bay windows.
The reconstructed and extended roof to the original house includes 3 zinc-clad dormers and a dramatic frameless window to the gable.
