Djumadi House is a simple family home with additional rental space. This house is located in a small village in the city of Yogyakarta. Djumadi House is a reinterpretation of the client's lifestyle that is always open to his community.
This house combines elements of renovation and extension with existing structures. The Djumadi House includes a roof program as a house identity and a farm program as a community space dedicated to the village. This house consists of 2 programs, a lounge (living room on the 1st floor, rented room, service), a private area (master bedroom and library).
The front of this house is intended as an area for kampung activities and as a playground for children. This area offers a respite and connectivity between the houses in the Kampung. In this house we try to bring back the idea of
Plataran as the essence of Kampung in this design. A place to gather and get to know each other.
